Bookmarked is software, operated by Margareto Software AS (org. no. 931 338 811). Payment processing is provided by Stripe. On every booking the organizer is the seller: the exhibitor's receipt carries the organizer's name, and the money settles into the organizer's own account at Stripe. Bookmarked never holds the organizer's money.

Using Bookmarked without charging for stands is free, with no time limit. Where the organizer charges exhibitors, Bookmarked's fee is NOK 10 plus 5% of each approved booking, deducted from the settlement. There is no setup fee, no monthly price and no minimum term. Stripe's own card fee is separate and is also deducted from the settlement.

Large markets and public-sector organizers may instead agree a flat annual price in writing.

Payouts are made once a month to the organizer's own bank account, after the market has run. Funds remain in the organizer's Stripe account until then, so cancellations and refunds are covered by money that is still there.

The organizer may ask for a different schedule in writing. We will normally agree to it where the market has already run.

Refunds are issued from the organizer's balance. Bookmarked charges no fee on a refund, and does not refund its own fee on a booking that was approved and then cancelled by the organizer.

If a refund, a chargeback or a cancelled market leaves the organizer's balance short — for example where money had already been paid out — Margareto Software AS invoices the organizer for the difference, payable within 14 days. This is the situation the monthly payout schedule exists to avoid.

Before a market is claimed, its page is compiled by Bookmarked from public sources and may contain errors. Once claimed, the organizer is responsible for the accuracy of what they publish there.

An organizer may stop using Bookmarked at any time. Their market page remains in the directory as an unclaimed listing unless they ask us to remove it.
